Technology Experience You Can Trust
My name is Steve Stefan and I am the owner of SJS Technology Services.
I’ve spent more than 25 years working with computers, networks, software, hardware, and technology support. My experience ranges from building and repairing computers and installing wired and wireless networks for homes and small businesses to managing IT infrastructure for organizations with hundreds of employees.
I started my IT career in technical support and computer repair, where I gained hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware and software problems, building custom computer systems, and installing networks for homes and small businesses.
Later, as a Network Administrator, I was responsible for the technology needs of more than 300 employees across five locations. My responsibilities included maintaining servers and computers, managing Windows Active Directory, configuring Wi-Fi networks, supporting remote users, managing Office 365, maintaining virtual machines, and administering company-wide VoIP phone systems.
That experience taught me how important it is to approach technology problems methodically. Whether it’s a computer that won’t cooperate, unreliable Wi-Fi, a printer that won’t connect, or a network that isn’t performing the way it should, the first step is understanding the problem and finding the right solution.
Why I Started SJS Technology Services
Today, technology is part of almost everything we do. But when something stops working, you shouldn’t have to be an IT expert to figure it out.
I started SJS Technology Services to provide practical, dependable technology help to homeowners and small businesses.
My goal isn’t to sell you something you don’t need. It’s to understand what you’re trying to accomplish, identify what’s actually wrong, and provide a solution that makes sense for you and your budget.
My Approach
Listen. Diagnose. Explain. Fix.
I believe good technology support starts with listening to the customer and understanding the problem before jumping to a solution.
I’ll explain what I’m finding in plain language, discuss your options, and help you determine the best approach.
No unnecessary technical jargon. No pressure to buy something you don’t need. Just practical technology help from someone with years of hands-on experience.
Practical Technology helping to serve homeowners and small businesses with computer, networking, Wi-Fi, and technology support.
